This is getting consistently good reviews... I'm not convinced it's an M5 beater in terms of all-round ethos, but I'd like a play in one all the same

Read this earlier today and tbh I think it will be a better all round car than the M5, just maybe not quite as much the driving tool (Also driven by too.........) Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award

As per usual, people who are into their super saloons know what they like I reckon. You either like your Ms, AMGs or RSs. Be interesting to see how many new XFR customers come from any of those brands...

One thing to bear in mind is the M5 gets the same power without any turbos and roughly the same engine size. That makes for a different driving experience which some might prefer.
