Ok, this is basically just a rant.. I got beat by a Cayenne S (new shape) a couple days ago, and it kinda made me feel inferior for a while

i think LR know this is a big issue - the new engines (5.0 V8 etc) and facelifts should resolve these issues - I hope |

Kaine is right when LR put the 5.0ltr S/C in the RRS it means it should be able to kick sand in the faces of all of them except the V12Tdi Q7 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

RRSSS, we have been sorely tempted by a ML63 in recent months however we will wait fro the new 5L V8 S/C facelifter Sport to set that right.... Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award

The new sport might beat it on looks but don't think even with the new 5ltr it will beat a ML63 |

Hmmm. The ML63AMG is different league, but so is the price! Yes it will hit 60 in 5 seconds, yes it will top out (limited) at 155 or nearer 180 if you cross the palms of the men at Affalterbach with lots of euros, so what? Mercedes AMG are not unbeatable, far from it. The new S/C 5 litre JLR motor is easily and relatively cheaply tunable to give well over 600bhp (just like Rocketsports Racing did with the Bonneville Jag XF)
