Had my RRS in Town & County for it's 30k service and New Pads & Discs all round. They had supplied me with a Brand New FRL2 XS as a loaner and I was due to drop it back to them and collect my RRS the following day. That evening my wife went into Labour and had to be kept in hospital. I called T&C to let them know that I may not be able to get back with their loan car. They were very understanding and said not to worry, they woud reorganise their loan cars and just to get back to them when I could. This turned out to be 2 days later! Finally our 1st son decided he was ready to make an appearance. I called T&C to let them know I was on my way to collect my car. When I arrived my car was ready, completely spotless inside and out and Bryan, the Service manager, had knocked almost £300 off of my bill & left a great big Land Rover Teddy for our new baby boy as a congratulations to my wife and I. Playing the waiting game with the wife now, only 2 weeks to go, must keep the PSP and Ipod charged to while away the labour pains i'll have

When my wife went into labour I had my leg in plaster from a wee accident and I phoned the maternity to tell them Id have to get a lift as I couldnt drive cos I was in plaster. When we got there the midwife was really nippy with me and I kept getting short shift of her all night. 6 in the morning she came in going off shift and apologised to me for being nippy with me but the message she'd got was that we were waiting for a lift cos I was PLASTERED!!
