About normal - If you're not worried about having a service done by a dealer you could always call site sponsor 10forcash, he is a mobile service engineer and as far as I know his rates are very competitive! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Thanks, they did say they need to inspect it prior to the extended warranty being sold and if the service is done by them then the inspection will be carried out at the same time for no extra cost. (Not sure if they would charge for this 'pre extended warranty' inspection normally ? - Guess they probably would !!).

I've just booked mine in for it's 45k/three year service at my local dealership. £290 plus cost of MOT on top.

Is there a big difference between the 45k service and 60k service ? (Parts / work wise not price). |

We have to have our serviced every 6 months/6,000 miles here cos of the climate.

In that sort of environment where you're maybe less likely to find a decent indy, then I suppose the LR dealer is the safe bet even if it is going to cost a couple of internal organs.

I had a 45k service completed however car has done 57k and it shoud have been 60k service (which i requested) so wondered if there was a big difference, apart from fuel pump filter ?
