2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

NP, I think James means an XS. I think that heaping a lot of extras on an S is really a false economy as at the end of the day the car is still an S spec, but with a heap of extras that have cost you an arm and a leg and that you get very little of the money back for. Probably the best value extras to put on an S would be leather - an XS will always be an XS (and there's really nothing wrong with it) which is a higher spec for a similar price to the S. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

MAW, does the XS have 17" or 18" wheels and what else does it have that the SE doesn't? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

18" Tim - but they don't look well on it.... Not sure against an SE, I had the HSE before this one and at the time my view was all i needed in the HSE was the drive, the seating position the look of the car, leather PDC and Nav so it was a good move - you miss some things intially like rain sensors and auto lights (lazy Laughing ) but there is not much else i miss - TOH complained about no heated seats but i have air con on full cold flat out all the time so i wasn't going to miss them Laughing

If you ask 'has it got' i could answer but unsure of differences to SE as i don't really know its spec...

My last RRS was an SE, it had auto-on lights and rain sensing wipers, heated front and rear seats - no nav but that came in 2007MY and only part leather seats (the sides and backs were quite good imitation leather) The only thing (apart from the TDV8 motor of course!) I would really miss now would be the PTi if I went back to an SE, I could live without the rest of the toys of the HSE TBH, they are nice to have but are more things that are expensive to repair when they go wrong. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I think the '09 XS has 19" wheels. Mine should have had but they don't look 19" and it doesn't look good (see for yourself in my gallery).

All the above included but it also has pti on the '09 XS. Its more function over form which has left me a little dissappointed but I couldn't get to see one for love nor money before making the buying decision. all things considered I'm enjoying my XS, but I miss my 7series big time! WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

Wozz - Those wheels look like the 18" style I have on my RRS.

United Kingdom

since i don't have to get brand new i have a little bit further range to look at, such as preregistered.

Just been looking at company car tax on a RRS TDV6 'S' a FL2 HSE_e auto (if its availaible in auto) and the Audi Q5 3.0 TDi S Line 240ps

The audi looks to be the cheapest on my wage deductions Shocked , but most expensive to spec to a good level Sad , but getting a ex demo might sort that to some extent

O'well suppose i will have to wait now until i can get some figures from my boss to gauge what i can get for his money Thumbs Up

Sorry guys I thought you were discussing the STORMER version which is the current limited edition. Obviously it pays to read the thread title when someone digs up an old thread! Rolling Eyes Embarassed

Yes, XS is based on the S but with leather and 18" alloys. To be fair it is financially supported by LR so does look good value. I think that they have all gone now though.

James Thumbs Up

Ah yes - XS has PTI as well - but it works like a woman - some days the phone logs on some days it doesn't - it doesn't let you know until you need it Confused

Wonder if they have made some improvements for '09.

After 2 months of ownership mine has worked flawlessly 100% of the time and my missus calls pretty much every time I drive. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

iphone 3g MAW

One of my friends has the XS and has trouble with his iphone connectivity though so i don't think the phone is the root of the problem. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award
