I hope you have made the right choice on loosing the RRS

Tonight i have had my FL2 go on the back of a truck to the dealers due to it whirring from what looks to be a failed handbrake or something

The Enterprise car of choice was a Vauxhall Insignia Elite, now i know its not in the same league as the beauty you have bought, but the driving position is just so different, after a hours drive and 60 mile round where i live on both motorway and country lanes, I just couldn't get comfy and felt strange been so low down.

Not a bad car though for a Vauxhall, but i think i will be in a 4x4 for some time to come all been well,

Thumbs Up

Managed to get on a helicopter on Monday (thankfully I didn't have to wait for one of SPs), so I'm in St. John's now. Platform fogged in so it's fortunate I got off when I did.
In the office today (Wed) and then flying to London via Toronto tonight (Air Canada, not SP Air).
So it's all still on for Saturday.
I know what you're saying about driving position and l"ow down" seat, especially as I've had Range Rovers for 25 years now, so I am hoping that I won't miss the RRS too much! Time will tell.

Ah, Tim, but I have a cunning plan for just such a situation - like you I own a Defender for those occasions.

Right enough if I get caught in a flash flood or snowstorm away from home I'll be ****ed in the Aston, but hey, it's a nice place to wait to be rescued!! Whistle Whistle

Nice car! Shocked Bow down

Congrats. Thumbs Up

I hope I will not have to wait for 30 years of earning money until I can buy mine, I will be old by then. Whistle Wink On the other hand if house pricing keeps raising like it did the last few months over here I think I will be able to buy one soon because it doesn't make sense to save for a house I will never be able to buy...
