There's a picture of him driving his new "wheels" up the A27 yesterday, in this morning's Daily Telegraph page 3. Jay working all those hours in the shop hasn't have made you look old mate, you need to get out of the shop more than once a week. Is that a new colour to replace Rimini Red Jay?

Dear all,

I've just got back from the Gaydon meet, so thought I'd drop you a quick line. Thanks to those who attended, it was really good to see some old faces again, and it was good to meet Bob, Brumlee and Josh who I hadn't met before. Thumbs Up

We could have done with a few more Sports to equal the impressiveness of the August convoy, however good fun was had by all on the drive up there. Tim, thank you for setting the pace on the way up there..... I guess you can't claim 34mpg on that run! Whistle

I think the plan is to organise another one in the summer, so keep your eyes on the events section. Below are a few random shots from today. Wink

Thanks again, and to Jay & TB for organising. Bow down

James Thumbs Up

Embarassed No not quite James! Still considering the factors influencing the run up to Gaydon like leaving late and such heavy traffic on the motorway Laughing I think the 24mpg on the trip comp wasn't bad. I refueled at Gaydon and reset the t/c and forgot to look to see what average speed was. Might be a good thing not to know though! Shall we say "fast enough to make up for the late departure and still arrive on schedule" Shocked Never did catch up with V6 Toureg that Jay thought was Kaine though or the FFRR S/C....... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Great seeing some old faces and some new ones too! thanks Jay and James.... Thumbs Up

I'll look to arrange a summer outing and maybe even one over an overnight with perhaps a trip to Abersoch Beach in Wales - driving on the beach would be great - and then some driving on mountain roads, with a great evening dinner, and a B & B for the night - would be great getting 20 RRS/FFRR along, and maybe some offroad work and a great convoy on the motorways....will put my thinking cap on and sound everyone out about logistics and dates for such an event.

Thanks again Jay/James.....and enjoyed the convoy on the M40 Thumbs Up
