Yep, I know James - ideally I'd have a new RRS and the Aston, but my budget won't stretch to that. I've had Range Rovers for 25 years, so I'd feel "naked" without one, which is why I'm trying to justify and afford both that and the Aston. I've considered the Vantage V8, but I'd always regret not having the DB9. I love V8s but having 6 litres of V12 under the right hoof must be something special!!!! I really need a lottery jackpot win, quite urgently. Any RRS TDV8 HSE in white with light interior around?? ANT Range Rover Evoque 5 door on order. 2006Java/Alpaca/4.4HSE/PTIS/Tracker/pp/Tasmods/Black side repeaters/Custom exhaust (gone but not forgotten!) Land Rover Defender 110 CSW 200 TDi blue (Offroad prep'ed). Citroen C4 Grand Picasso Aston Martin DB9 Tungsten Silver Another Citroen C4 Grand Picasso (Christinemobile) 1990 Mini Cooper SE - classic! (now sold) New addition - 1972 Triumph Stag Pimento Red Last edited by oilman151 on Sun Feb 22 2009 8:25pm. Edited 1 time in total |

I've been away from the dealership since Thursday PM, but I'm almost certain that the vehicles offered were THE only ones (obviously with the confusion of Vogue). We have a used TDV8 HSE in silver due in next week if that helps with the budget, and could be close enough to white! Can't remember all the details off the top of my head.

Steve- right enough. I've spent 30years in the oil industry, so at least 15 years have been away from home. I spend 250hrs+/year on planes & helicopters (maybe I should buy my own .

God forbid ST, God forbid!!! Hopefully, Mrs Oilman will prevent me from getting carried away, and "putting it all on red".
