She's had a look at that and unfortunately, with a back condition it doesn't help. It turns one potentially simple movement into two more difficult ones. |

What about putting the car into access mode, and then moving the drivers seat as far back as possible and lowering it to it's lowest setting. It's slow but at least the seats are motorised 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Lower the suspensions from off-road to access height, then raise them back up to off road. Repeat at least 12 times, in rapid succession. Ignore the warning chimes and flashing amber lights on the dash. The compressor should overheat, the height sensors will fail, a valve somewhere will get stuck and before you know it you will be on your bump stops. Invite the wife to come aboard.

when my wife was heavily pregnant she had a bad back and limited movement she found access height and the seat fully lowered and back the easiest way ps we have side steps and she says there would have been little chance of her getting in without them. |

What if the dealer enabled the transportation mode to be used? Is that a viable option maybe? |

Steve, I am pretty sure transportation mode needs to be enabled (or disabled) through Land Rover diagnostics software hooked up to the car. It's either / or, meaning that all other suspensions modes are unavailable until transportation mode is turned off. |

Build a wheelchair ramp parallel to the drive so you can park beside it in access mode with the door in line and level with the high end of the ramp................... is that far enough out of the box? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
