Any Concrete Suppliers on rrsport?

Anyone in the Concrete business - could anyone tell me what the best rates are at the moment?

PAV2 - 750 cubic.m (current quote: £66/c.m)
C35 - 120 cubic.m (current quote: £64/c.m)

We were paying £72.50 for C28/35 m3 about 5 months ago (total of about 60m3) and a part loat charge of £30 m3, so looks like you have a good price

I have a concrete business in Sheffield , those prices are fair.

PAV2 - 750 cubic.m (current quote: £66/c.m) I wouldmatch , but not beat that to get the job.
C35 - 120 cubic.m (current quote: £64/c.m) I would not beat that.

Plus I would make you pay cheque on completion I would only make 3 grand on that job , the materials would cost me nearly 42k alone. so not a good return , I prefer to do mini mix, up to 6 metre loads at 120plus/m2

No sense being a busy fool.

Buy at those prices. 08 HSE,5%TINTS, Factory tow bar, brum ,brum

Cement has gone up 20% last month , everyone ringing for the first time this year gets a shock, usually those who cut costs also cut quality, a guy in Sheffield has just been caught out big time using recycled agg in stead of proper virgin stone. Insist on taking cubes for that quantity to verify strengths against specs . 08 HSE,5%TINTS, Factory tow bar, brum ,brum
