Serious case of more money than sense.......I reckon that conversion, 5 door to 2, convertible roof mechanism and all necessary structural reinforcements must have cost 50K as a custom job making it a 100K+ car.

LSE Coupe 3dr RRS starts at £120k so I bet that RRS cost more than that for a one-off. I bet the aircon struggles on that one. The RRS aircon it isn't the greatest aircon system I've had in a car - that goes to the FFRR which can make the inside into a deepfreeze very quickly.

This a prototype being run by Landrover, part of their public commitment to reduce the weight of all their cars by a third in the future. |

I wouldn't want to bet on many people travelling in it surviving a roll - there appears to be nothing there to protect anybody in it except a wing mirror housing holding the front screen up.................. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

That's really some ugly thing. I mean, making it a convertible is one (stupid) thing but why should you make it shorter?
