I am thinking of a radar detector, can anyone advise me ?

Valentine one is the best one... but. There is possibility it would not function through the front glass, because of heating. RANGE ROVER, MORE THAN A CAR, LESS THAN A KITKAT

Valentine, Beltronics both work just fine...see the sticky thread on hard wiring the radar detector....no problem with the heated windshield. PJPR

Have a look at the Pogo Alert........neat little unit, no problem with signal through the windscreen! .

There is absolutely no substitute for a genuine lack of preparation.

I have a Beltronics, as PJPR01 says works great through windscreen.... especially good here in Houston with Cops hiding behind every tree (not that I speed, Im the chap that people say get a move on too ) Brit across the Pond
