early morning after four days not driving it I tried to start the engine it start for less that 2 seconds the die..I tied again same thing happen..at third time I started with some push of gas peddle and it's run I could smell unburned fuel coming just after start...it smells like 20 years car would not start then just by any way the engine starts and all unburned fuel small come out I'm not sure if there was any black smoke coming out from the exhaust..it happen to me always at the first start early morning after I have not drive my RRS for at least 4 days because my shift duty cycle so I drive mostly during weekends not daily used 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged, Buckingham Blue, Ivory converted to HST Silver

There is a latest TSB (No. LTB00197 issued 20 Jan, 2009) referring to "Poor Cold Start Stumble" concerning 'intermittent poor cold start' affecting RR SC and RRS SC only (except Japan).

can they still do it if its a bulletin, also, regarding my moving seat, someone said there was a bulletin for that, but can i have that done from RR out of warantee if its an obvious fault? RR Sport supercharged 06

Can't comment about warranty etc but I am sure it can be done on any car, you just may have to pay some quids.

Since I don't currently have an RRS (LR is replacing my vehicle after excessive warranty claims) I can't comment on the longevity of the seat fix but it did seem to work while I had the car. I believe that the seat base was replaced under the bulletin and then the runners after a recurrence of the problem so you may need both done.

SP, does your car have the stock interior or is it also "tricked-up" like the outside? I would think no Land Rover dealer would touch it if it is tricked up unless you paid them, however you could approach the company that "pimped it" and see if they would fix the problem. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Occupants may experience clicking/knocking noise emanating from the seat base. Concern most prevalent when vehicle driven at low speed or at acceleration in stop/start conditions akin to around town driving.

This version has been issued to include Freelander 2 vehicles.

Cause: The rubber bump stops on the seat track are being compressed but are not restoring to original shape. Suggested Customer Concern Code -S04.

Action: Should a customer express concern, to install a new front seat track refer to the
procedure detailed in Global Technical Reference GTR Workshop Manual 501-10
