Service Reminder Reset

I just had my oil changed and I assumed that I could reset my dashboards "next service" reminder. I went to the service manual and it states that the dealer is the only one who can reset the reminder. Please tell me this is not true Rolling Eyes

I guessing (betting) that someone out there has the answer. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply Bobby, I will have to re-read those directions a few times before it sinks in Thumbs Up

Some service indicators can only be reset by the Land Rover IDS tool, regardless of the instructions for the how to.

As mentioned in the other thread, in North America only MY08+ allow the SII to be reset manually by the owner, MY06 and 07s need to be reset via diagnostics (by the dealer or an IDS equipped indy shop.)
