On Saturday I did a Land Rover Experience half day at Skipton, North Yorkshire. This was free on VA’s advice in a post a while back.

The LR experience was my first taste of off-roading and I too was completely hooked by it. Glad you enjoyed your day. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Yes but why not buy a cheaper set of 19's, get some MTR's put on them and swap over when you need to. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten 2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed. Buy a set of used 19" rims and you'll find there are plenty of 19" tyres to suit - 20" AT's are very thin on the ground................ rare as hens teeth and rocking horse sh t! Sorry VA you answered sooner - JF, although MTR's are OK for snow use, if you go for 19's you will also find that there is a large selection of Winter tyres are available that will fit RRS too. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it 2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced 2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW Last edited by Tim in Scotland on Mon Feb 09 2009 10:08am. I really don't want the hassle of swapping wheels, I just want the option of driving along a country road, and being able to dive off it.....hence I want to keep the 20s on but with more off roady tyres |

The problem with 20's is they are low profile so you risk damage to both the tyres and the rims, 19's have a higher profile and less likely to be damaged 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Low profile tyre are much more prone to punctures JF................................ that's what I was meaning - changing a tyre in the mud of a green lane isn't much fun especially with the dangerous jack LR supplies with the RRS 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

5. Pressing lock on the keyfob twice does not deadlock it, it actually turns off the internal alarm sensors, for your dog etc.
