The value of adding a webcam to your household alarm system

Or "The things you never knew about your neighbours"

No apologies to the D3 forum, but I thought you might find this thread over there very interesting, http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic29935.html it shows the value of including a video or webcam into your domestic alarm system

Scroll down to the 2nd post from the bottom of the page by DaveVX and click the link and watch the house behind the D3 with the silver car parked in front of it or click on this frame to go to the page

What a nice neighbour he has......................................... not The guyser doesn't just do it once but comes strolling back in the other direction and has another go!

If you read the thread over on D3 you will find that the guyser KEYED DaveVX's car as he walked passed it - not once but twice! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I think some lazy Police Officer needs a kick up the A Censored Personally I would not accept the deal offered by the officer in question and would complain very loudly until it was dealt with properly. The officers job is to gather all the evidence and present that to the CPS/Court so that they can decide.

In this case the counter allegation (smoke screen) would not go anywhere. TDV6 - gone

Makes me wonder what, if anything, the D3 owner or a member of his household did to upset his neighbour..................... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Since somebody decided to scratch the boot door on my FL2 (only small and polish will get 90% out) I am thinking of getting one of these

http://www.securesight.com/vl1_camera_recorder_floodlight

Flood light/CCTV/Recorder in one with built in storage of upto 1GB (comes with 512mb SD card)

basicly a floodlight that records or takes photos, everytime the PIR sensor is tripped day or night, so if anything does happen, I just need to look at the SD card

Seems to be quite good value for £100 Smile

It is a sad tale indeed and having mine keyed jsut a couple of weeks after getting it over in the UK can relate.

It would appear more and more that if you report a crime you become the criminal.

Whilst a difficult situation, I would of called the guys bluff, my own experiences is that though the police force may have their own way of looking at things, the courts and the legal system is still capable of delivering a fair result.

I use a 16 way HDD recorder and over the past few years it has been very helpful in catching the harassment by the family next door, like breaking the fir trees around the carpark and putting glass in the gravel of the car park. Also a nice capture of the brother of next door verbaly assaulting my SWMBO,
We have moved now and have much better neighbours even tho they have a D3 Wink
