Car Audio Technics - Rosen DVD Player

Cool looking headrest replacement DVD system.

I might just fancy one though.
- Might one be able to buy one headrest rather than 2?

Anyone fitted one.... Easy DIY? Big Cry 2022 P440e AB

I wonder where they lead the power from? There are no visible cables in that picture so it looks like you still have to take the car to them for fitting it rather than something as simple as exchanging the headrest 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tim:

The cables run down the back inside of the seat covering. The main box on mine sits under the drivers seat.
I had mine fitted by a local audio shop, nothing complicated at all. The only thing different I did was fit a master switch to the front, so I can switch it off and on, which has a power delay switch, so it stores the point at where the DVD was.

If the kids had been watching it without the engine on, when starting up used to switch off, but still remembered the point at which it had stopped. However fitting a dual battery setup seems to of cured that.

i think they run the wires down the headrest pillars into the seat frame

If something similar could be done for the FL2 it would be nice, as i can't go roof mounted due to the duel sunroofs

They are an easy fit takes about 2-3 hours the cableing goes down the headrest shafts and into the seat and also the new replacement headrsets have a tilt motion so they dont stick in the back of your head like the factory fitted ones do, i love mine best money i spent on it keeps the kids happy with the games built in also. Very Happy
