The TV advert I think with Pierce Morgan in it for his new series in Dubai says something about mobile phones at a cost of £250k

Coz you can? Remember some folks still have more money than sense, even in these hard times. If you own an oil well or two or your country pays you to be a citizen (reverse taxation is still paid to Kuwaitii nationals) I suppose you might suffer a momentary lapse of good taste now and again. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

true, owning a oil well or two doesn't give you good taste, just phones that cost more than my house |

I suppose it's the same as wrist watches - they all do the same thing, it's the way they do it that costs so much. I have a rather nice Breitling Chronoghraphe Aerospace, cost what I thought was a HUGE amount of money to spend on a watch. It's been super accurate and in 10 years has only needed one replacement battery. I would be the first to admit I could have bought about 50 cheap casio's for the same money but they don't look as nice! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

True, I have the same view on watches within reason , But only got so far as a Seiko Kinetic at the moment. and a top of the range Casio G-Shock for working around the house and snowboarding in.
