2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey
Glen Shira, Sunday 0930 for 1000 departure

OK all you Sport owners in Scotland the Scottish Land Rover Owners Club are having a green road run on Sunday in Glen Shira about 1.5miles north of Inverary on the A83. The route is all on hardpacked surfaces, no mudplugging or anything remotely damaging (well maybe the odd bramble hanging over the track!) The start is at the layby beside the cemetry at the head of Loch Shira on Loch Fyne and follows Glen Shira up to the dam then along the west side of Lochan Shira. Usually we get a show around the pumphouse and go inside the dam on the way back as the manager of the powerstation is also a member of the SLROC. Non members are welcome, bring a picnic and a camera!
Start is at 1030 for 1100
Don't forget the clocks go forward an hour at 0200 on Sunday to BST....... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Had a brilliant run in the Glen Shira area.................... it was a pity that the weather didn't want to play - swirling fog and pee-ing rain (at least the dirt all got washed off on the way home!), There are afew pics in my gallery in the album titled 29th march.

Had plenty of mud plugging but none of the watery stuff that VA and M@averik excell in. Up to axle deep at times and the car performed brilliantly..... and more importantly impressed the Bobtailed/Jacked up Rangies and Defenders that also came along. They were even more impressed when they saw the tyres that I was running on - the Continental M&S tyres which I don't think are that good offroad, but did everything asked of them today.
The only downer on the day was that I have hardly any mud remaining on the car to show for the fun! Laughing
