What is santorini black? Is it new LR color?

Any difference between Java and santorini? Question RANGE ROVER, MORE THAN A CAR, LESS THAN A KITKAT

Santorini Black replaces Java Black on the RRS from 2009my. It's virtually the same however in direct sunlight you can see that it has a might higher metallic element to it.

James - out of interest how did the poo brown (I mean bournville) colour go down with sales - personally I didn't like it but I think I was in the minority at the meet

Bournville hasn't been the roaring success that I thought it would, however we have sold a few. Unfortunately the colour doesn't do itself justace unless it's in bright sunlight (like MB Obsinian Black), so perhaps we'll see a boom in the summer! Whistle

Is Santorini the same or similar to the black used on the XF?
I had a loaner RRS in Java next to our XF a couple of weeks ago and the Jaguar black seemed to have much more sparkly finish similar to an Audi micatallic I used to have. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

Yes the Jaguar colour is virtually the same (I say virtually, but it could in fact be from the same tin!).
