Strange one that always catches me out.... when I dial a number or re-dial (worse) that is engaged I get the right number on the Stereo console, but the last successful call on the small screen on the main dash?

This happens to me also. I've come to live with it. I've also experienced the previously dialled number being displayed on both screens as I call another number. RRS TDV6 (gone)
RRS TDV8 HSE(gone, burned out)
ML 320 CDI Airmatic

Don't recall anyone raising this before...

Which screen are you calling the second - i only recall seeing the numbers on the stereo screen

Also whilst on this subject what function does the handset button on the centre console have that the green PTI button on the steering wheel does not?

.... and your numbers appear on that screen as well not on mine - do you need to leave the screen on a certain 'page'??

I noticed yesterday that the number and persons name alternates on the screen below the speedo etc.

yup happens on mine as well, last time it showed the lads number as a missed call as I was dialing home to speak with him

i have to press the console button if i wanted to dial a actual telephone number on the radio, pressing the green button doesn't give me this option

Basically turns the screen from radio to phone screen for dialing
