What is age of RRS - olders cars had poorer wipers but IIRC were upgraded initially in 1st year - recent releases have improved wipers it seems...

Early wipers used to drag and squeak

My car is two years old and I have had two sets.

The first juddered early in their life and were replaced by LR. The set they put on have lasted about 18 months which is fair wear and tear as far as I am concerned. I have just replaced them with a set from.....Halfrauds.

These are a specific D3/RRS set that Halfrauds do. The main difference is that the mounting point is not so "stylish" as the real LR ones, but a £22 per set they are cheaper than LR (ooops - I am beginning to sound like a D3 driver)

Valeo Silencio and the Rain-X ones don't squeek. in fact, most of the aftermarket ones probably don't.....

This should not happen - I thought the wiper issue had been sorted ages ago. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

I've just bought a set of wipers from LR dealer for £22 this morning for my FFRR, previous set were smearing, but no drag or squeak. New set fitted no smear. drag or squeak Thumbs Up

Presummably, FFRR wiper set should be same size as RRS ...
