My 07 RRS SC exhaust

after a year of having the mod done, i finally took a video of my exhaust for some other forums and thought that you guys would be slightly interested as well.

all i did was remove the resonator i believe (the large box near the center of the car) and reconnected the system with a straight pipe, i remember a few people a while ago were interested how this would sound. btw i should add that no warning lights will go off after this mod (at least none did in my car), but im not responsible if your car should blow up or something.

the microphone on the camera was pretty bad so you guys might have to turn up your volume.

enjoy. Very Happy

EDIT:

unfortunately i could not figure out how to embed the video onto the page so ill just post the weblink to my Flickr page and the video will be on there.

So what is the point of an aftermarket exhaustif you take a box out and replace it with a pipe?

Maybe the resonance box is required for emissions too? 2022 P440e AB

if you talking only range rovers, really the only thing i can think of is bragging rights to have wasted X amount of money.

but different cars make different sounds, depending on that maybe it isnt always the best thing to cut out the resonator as the sound could be much worse and very raspy (not a nice rumble like our cars) so it really depends. James A. Cadet

Nice sounding exhaust. I am very glad you posted this as I was thinking about doing this myself. There is nothing that the resonators really do other than quite your exhaust down. The only potential problem you can run into is a noise violation depending on your town in the US but I don't think that would really be an issue here.
