Yep and all that only because they replaced this beautiful 55 AMG engine (which is one of the best ever built, in a drag race 0-300 km/h it outran a Murcielago!) with this stupid "greener" 63 that has a little more horsepower but a lot less torques and cannot be chipped that easy. Evil or Very Mad The 63 engine has turned the AMG SL into a fast sports car but nothing more (and it is ugly since the facelift), the SL 55 was a serious beast.

Don't get me wrong, I also like the AM a lot more than the SL, it is an unbelievably good looking car with a great sound and far more style than the SL. But the best if not the only really good thing coming from Mercedes these days was the 55 engine and now they do not sell it anymore (they also replaced the G55 with a G63 which in my eyes is a sin). Sad RRS TDV6 HSE, 2006, bonatti grey, ebony interior, rear diff, s/c grille and vents, stormers, privacy, tasmods, iphone integration Wink
