I searched, i found, im still stuck!

right, ive tried it all!

changed the fuse and still no luck, though am getting the clicking sound now.

if the headlight washers arent going as well is that just down to frozen pipes?

its -11 here today, driving to and from night shifts with crap vision isnt fun!

any help would be great

Tom

I think it freezes further down the feed...so even though the nozzels are heated, the blockage is actually a few inches back.

The only way I keep mine freeze free is to use screen wash with a freezing point of -7. RRS gone

im going to have to wait for the temp to rise, Censored ! i usually have neat stuff in but it was serviced last week and topped up for me (could throw a bottle of vodka in...)

and yes, ridiculous positioning of the fuse box.

still wouldn't swap the car for anything else though, will do a proper intro once these nights have ended.

thanks again

tom

As daft as it may sound, for the past 3 weeks I've had a mixture of vodka and a small amount of washing up liquid mixed with water in my washer bottle.

The reason being, I have been to Ukraine in our RRS and when I was there the temps went down to - 15 degrees. Both screen jets and headlamp jets worked perfectly well at these temps.

My brother in law owns a restaurant and customers buy vodka not by the shot but by the bottle. There is normally a bit left from each bottle and he decanters this into a larger container and mixes it to use in the car during winter.

Plus the cheapest bottle of vodka is approx £1 which when mixed with water, is cheaper than screen wash over there!!

Update - in handover at work, finally thawed out as I got to work and now have a shiny screen.

Going to rob an alcoholic patient of his vodka and pop it under the bonnet for the morning.
