United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Ive been Egypt twice. Once to Hurghada and once to Sharm. We stayed in Hilton Dreams 5 star in Narma Bay while in sharm. It was like £330 including flight for 7 nights. I figured i couldnt go wrong since ive spent more in the west end in one night Big Cry. This was booked well in advance. Some mates went recently booking the night before and paid £650 for the same.

I found Hurghada to be ALOT cheaper for EVERYTHING (once you haggle). However sharm is a much much nicer place to be. As for Cairo. Dont, seriously. Both times i did the road 'excursion' to see the pyramids. Even though the second time i really really didnt but figured if everyone else was going no point me sitting around the pool all day Whistle . I would highly advise you to take the one day trip via a PLANE ride. Expect to pay no more than 1400 egyptian pounds (at the time the exchange rate was 10:1). Didnt go valley of the kings but id expect the price to be similar.

Diving is a must and is simply amazing. Even at a beginner level. We basically had a guy pulling us along by our air tanks. I thought i was doing amazingly well swiming underwater till i looked up and noticed Rolling with laughter .

Im not sure if your interested but theres 3 main clubs in Sharm - Pacha, Hard Rock, Little Budha. Drinks arent cheap. eg, £5 shots. I wasnt overly impressed by either. Little Budha seemed to attract the nicer females though Whistle Whistle . Also on the note of taxis. They will try and rip you off. You really need to either be stubborn when you haggle or let your hotel get you one. Luckily we stayed close enough to narma bay to be in walking distance of the main area.

Security wise the egyptians do take tourist security quite seriously now. I dont think i ever felt worried. Except on that stupid road trip to cairo, that was more down to the fact i didnt know a coach could be driven like a sports car..... and thats coming from a RRS driver Rolling with laughter .... When i went from hurghada the convoy was police escorted the whole journey. I didnt notice similar treatment going from sharm.

The hotels in sharm have there own beach sections which are used by their guests. Theres also a public beach for the hotels which arent near the beach.

...All in all i enjoyed the place but the whole pyramid experience is overrated. Especially when u realise their not even away from the city. The city is built RIGHT up to the pyramids. Thumbs Up

He didnt quite perfect it this time. Got it bang on the rest of the night though Bow down Bow down .

...what kept us amused in cairo. The couple with us on the coach/bus thing Whistle Whistle

Pyramids (these camel ride people are very pushy and will try their utmost to absolutely rip you off, be careful of their niceness and id suggest aggreing a price before hand if you intend to do it. One guy even tried to charge me for taking a photo of him and his camel Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter )

Can i have your holiday shot, there better than mine Embarassed

Re the taxi's
Haggle as much as possible, but often when getting back to the hotel the price had changed, never pay in advance, at least when you get there the hotels security guard will step in and tell them to Censored off.

lol i took like 1000 photos, but most just have the people i went with in them so took a while to find some regular photos. Even found a RRS! I remember it was the only nice car i saw in sharm except an s class and some idiot who was driving up and down the bay in a boxster all week. Plus id only had my own for 2 months so was well excited. Colour coded and everything!

poor photo though..

Heres some others.
