Low battery problems are a major cause !!!

Thanks wiggs, i can iliminate the battery and the Restraint System , ill have to dig about a bit more, the heater does fire up as i can here it and then cuts out just af the fan kickis into high speed,it also fails the test on IDS Its not low on diesel , or the low light is not on at least but may be it dont like it when below half a tank for some reason, ill fit it up and try again. Yes. It does the ticking then fires and sounds ok

Just thinking about it, I was going to go out the other day, I fired up the heater from the gsm timer all was ok I think.

Could well have ...if it had not gone through its sequence and you stopped it ..it shuts down for a while to stop any serious faults .

I think I've sussed it , I fired it up water for the fan to go to high speed just where it would normaly extinguish it's self and gave it some propane in the inlet pipe.

Thanks wiggs ,I think that must be it "flame out" and it cuts the fuel instead of trying to increase it for a second to try and recover the flameout.

If you have still got the old FBH ..it may be worth seeing if you can take it apart and check the build up of carbon deposits on the glow pin and flame sensor.
