Hi Wozz, welcome aboard!!

Unfortunately the XS doesn't have the Aux socket behind the cubby Big Cry so the only option is a 'connectivity module' of some sort. Being a franchise dealer i can only recommend the LR kit, but I can vouch that the LR kit does charge the 3g and mine hasn't been fried!

You're supplying dealer should do you a decent deal if you are still yet to pick up the new toy!!

All the best,

James Thumbs Up

Hi James,

Many thanks for the definitive answer on this. I am not sure whether I am able to "modify" the vehicle as I am obtaining it on a lease (PCH) for two years. I will check though as I can't imagine a LR kit fitted by an LR dealership would be considered too radical a modification. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

I just found this on another bored trawl of t'internet.

Looks like it may be a decent cost effective solution. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

Watch out with those radio drequency solutions! Even if you find a frequency which works in that specific location, you will be driving along, and suddenly you are in an area where that frequency is used by a radio channel. I have tried two of these, and took them back.

Before my RRS I had a Lexus RX, and it does not have an AUX input, and I ended up having to use the tape player with an adapter. Still though, this was preferred to using the modultor.

This can happen, but in the UK at least, they work fine much more than they don't work fine Wink

I'm totally confuzzled. I'll see how it goes as its not that expensive. If it proves to be utter poo then I'll invest in the LR upgrade.

Only New Year to go and the alcohol intake can finally cease ... I'm too old for this!! WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award
