Performance Air filters for TDV6 and TDV8

Im having some performance foam filters made for the TDV6 and TDV8 engines, i hope they will be ready very soon.

Cost will be less than the other main competitor filters price but giving the same increase in air flow.
I would hope they will be a little under £50 all in + postage costs.

If anyone is interested please post here so i can see the interest.

Regards Pete

Google for K&N filtration performance or similar, seem to be plenty of reports of poor dust filtration by K&Ns (and if you don't care about that then simply run with no filter), whereas I ran an ITG on my D2 for in excess of 150k miles with no issues, car had a stage 2 tune with bigger intercooler too.

I used to run K&N on rally cars but would only run an ITG on anything I wanted good miles out of. No connection with either Co, just my experience of both kinds. Cheers

I dont like K&N either.

As for ITG i sell them now but these im havving made will be an upgraded version of the same type filter, and of course not made directly by ITG.

The price i gave was an estimate only as they are not manafactured yet.

Update , i have the TD5 filters now in stock @ £39all inc with delivery to the UK

I think the TDV6 D3 RRS and TDV8 filters are going to be only £2 or £3 more.

For TD5 filters link here http://www.bellautoservices.co.uk/index.php?page=itg_filters

are expecting a horsepower increase?
have you measured a difference or is it pedal response?

or is it just service life.

I was looking at the airbox last week and wondered if we trimmed the horizontal pipe back in the bottom of the airbox) then the air would have an easier path...what do you recon?

when you look at the dirty filer at change time the dirt is in very specific places.

Yes i will work it so all the LR range is done.

Re benifits on a standard car, service life and air flow gain, probabaly no power gains on the srandard car.

This first batch im working on will fit the following models.

TDV6 RRS
TDV8 RRS
4.2SC V8 RRS
4.4 V8 RRS

TDV6 D3
4.0L V6 D3
4.4L V8 D3
