I've had mine five years, I had a full engine rebuild done a couple of years ago including K16 hybrid turbos, 100 cell cats, map etc, it's putting out the right side of 500 bhp. Overtaking can be very exciting. It's a 1998 model with the S spoilers, sports seats etc, 59k miles: Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Perrys For New & Used Range Rover Sports We also sell Full Fat Range Rovers |

The reason the small cars are holding up is pretty obvious, especialy upto the 8k mark, anything more and the financial houses are scarred and have limited funds, when before you were all surpised to get someone declined, now your surpised when they're accepted!! James, you certainly have the right idea, small margin now and keep the business ticking, when things pick up in 18 months time you will still be around to make some money again. Speed Limits! not where I live!

I put the Bilstein PS9 suspension on it a few years ago, it made a huge difference to the handling, it also has RS control arms, it's recently had new pads and disks all round. It's probably worth what I paid for it five years ago but that's ignoring the fact I've spent alot of money on maintenance and improvements. The spoilers are Techart 2, they were factory fitted and the same as the Turbo S. Perrys For New & Used Range Rover Sports We also sell Full Fat Range Rovers |

I was offered 58k by a dealer when it was in for service in June as he had a customer who had been looking for one for ages.Problem is my Mrs want let me sell it! You got any pics of the spoiler? Before I had the engine re-built I tracked it alot at Bedford, Silverstone, Spa, the Ring but it's really not at it's best on track, it's just too heavy. It was off the road for eight months and I bought a GT3 which is much more suited to the track, the plan was to sell the 993 but I could not bring myself to do it. I don't use it much in the winter, during the summer I'll use it for work about once a week. It's a real treat to drive, as you know, I believe it's short comings are what makes it interesting. I've had a 996 & 997 turbo, each generation produces a better car but they are engineering out the character. Here is another picture of it:

2nd thoughts............. I'm pretty sure it is The Ring, however I'm now wondering if the inside camber is perhaps not steep enough for the Carousel, and perhaps' it's one of the other corners before. |
