Uneven Headlights

While waiting for huricane Katrina to come ashore, I thought I'd ask ya'll if the adaptive headlights are supposed to be lower on the driver's side than the passenger's side (perhaps so as not to be too bright for oncoming traffic?). Mine are. I guess they might simply be out of adjustment, but before I drive 45 miles to the nearest dealer for a fix I thought I'd ask.

Wish us luck with the storm - I don't really feel like finding out if my new RRS can really handle deep water:-) '06 RRS HSE Chawton White/Alpaca Lux/PTI/Sirius

No they are not out of adjustment. I had the same on my 528 and now on my RRS. It is designed that the light is lower on the driver's side so as not to blind the oncoming vehicles. 2006 RRS HSE, Chawton White, Alpaca with Cherry Wood Trim (Luxury Interior Pkg)

Yeah, quit frankly I think those lights aren't the best for highway driving. If there isn't any highway lights then you really have to focus on the road. It stinks when there's a left hand turn on the highway and you can't exactly see where you're going. Crying or Very sad RRS S/C Special Edition, Vesuvius

This is the third vehicle that I have had with Xenon headlights and I don't actually believe I can see any further down the road. The lights seem to cut out too low in front and its difficult to have good eye lead time down the road. 2006 RRS HSE, Chawton White, Alpaca with Cherry Wood Trim (Luxury Interior Pkg)
