I'm doing 350 km per tank(normal driving highway mixed city) a friend of mine has nonsupercharged 4.4L he made last time 320 less than mine can I conclude that supercharge engine consider more fuel efficient than 4.4L Rolling Eyes 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged, Buckingham Blue, Ivory converted to HST Silver

I'm taking a risk here...

if you have to consider mpg, then you're not ready for the SC!

Its not about the mpg that concerns me, i was just intrested in what REAL owners acheive from it!!! not what books say!!

My mate actually sold a BMW M5 and swapped it for a SC Range Rover as he reckons he was only getting 9 mpg with the BM and 11 mpg with the RR SC....a 20% fuel saving Shocked

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Zermatt Silver

Depends how you drive.

I get 20mpg sat in motorway traffic at 70-80. I've had over 380 miles to a tankful a couple of times.
Around town I get 15.5mpg.
Driven aggressively, I can get less that 6mpg Twisted Evil
Average I suppose is between 17mpg and 19mpg.
I looked at the LPG conversions, but I would have to drive 38,000 miles just to break even at today's petrol prices.

The noise makes it all worthwhile Very Happy

Hope this helps.

Bob RRS 4.2 S/C. Zermatt. Tints. Stormers. 150+ paint defects, wonkey bonnet, scratches, detached doorseal. suspension faults. To sum it up, a 60k pile of cr4p!

2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange

average around 15mpg... when budgeting, i generally look at around 32p per mile (petrol only), this should cover you for town & motorway driving

(£80 to fill up / 250 miles range = 32p per mile) RRS First Edition S/C, Vesuvius Orange, Rear Entertainment, Alpine TUE-T200DV, Stormer Alloys. (+ 19" MTR's for playing in the snow!)
