Thought I should drop a note on here complimenting them on great service so far. Cant fault Aaron for his work selling me the car - although their finance team could do with learning to count

Just booked in for the first warranty work - I think 2 weeks ownership is long enough before sending back isnt it? (cosmetic stuff that I wouldnt know about if I had not owned a new LR already!)

I use Guy Salmon Kutsford for my s/h 12 month old Range Rover Sport, which I bought from them .

Excellent service so far from them.

The few problems have been with the car - not the dealer.

I contacted them to carry out some warranty work, (petrol cap not locking), unfortunately they have still not rang me back.

Then again it was only 3 weeks ago and its probably more hassle than its worth.

Probably have to venture further out now for the service as this experience has left my confidence in them slightly low !!





(Pity CHPR isn't local from the posts i have read ---------- Anyone know if they collect and return your vehicle )

cant fault Perrys in Luton/Dunstable so far on service, even had a Disco 3 for week and didnt moan when i returned it very very muddy!

i travel over from the A1 instead of going local!

Anyone had any problems with guy salmons on test driving/appointments? I'm having problems with them not phoning me back

are you pressing the remote twice,the first press locks the car the second locks the fuel flap.  Gone,,TDV8 arctic frost,black leather,colour coded handles,rear entertainment,sunroof.

Well, just a bit of feedback on Guy Salmon this week following a slow start to get booked in by email.

I had it in only for the four wheel alignment and the new servo done under the recall. So, although only spending £144, my wife managed to find a cereal bar and a latte from someplace while looking round (which she called breakfast) and they gave me a new Freelander to play in for 24 hours as well.

Collected the car back this morning and it had been given a mini valet too. Which was nice.

In the past, I have found the parts department there pretty ropey, but from my small experience with the service department this week, no complaints at all.

It seems with that Guy Salmon seems to be one of the better dealerships?

Can anyone give me any feedback on Stratstones? particularly Stoke on Trent branch, as I picked up my black MY10 today and want someone to take care of it for any issues. I would be more than happy to travel to Guy Salmon in Knutsford if it is known to be better?

Stratstones are commonly known as "Crapstones"........

The nickname should give you an idea of the level of service and support you are likely to receive.

Guy Salmon Portsmouth also excellent, good service and parts dept, great attitude to customer service

Very unimpressed with Guy Salmon Ascot though, got the feeling because I am young they didn't have to give me the level of service I would expect. Very simple, never went back!

Also had a really good experience at Harwoods Edenbridge when I broke down, couldn't do enough to help and the service manager was superb. TDV8 Java Black, Overfinch 22s
