And I have today been quoted 17.5k GFV for a TDV8 at 3 years for a car through the dealer network although the negotiated sale price was hugely less than list of course

If a TDV8 can now be had for 38 (albeit an import) let alone 43k ish for a LR dealer car then the 40k target I had for a 2008 car on a 57 plate has just been blown out of the water

Drive the Deal is a very interesting place. It's an Internet brokerage that arranges a deal with you with a UK Franchised dealer. They do the deal for you - and then YOU go straight to the dealer and pay for the deal yourself. YOU PAY NO MONEY TO THE BROKER.

Dealers I have dealt with get very uncomfortable when you mention their name. I have bought a couple of company cars that way. I gave the local dealer the opportunity to match the price. When they didn't, I went straight to the UK dealer as arranged by Drive the Deal and bought the cars. UK cars, from UK dealers, with full UK spec and warranty. The irony is that I subsequently got all of the servicing done by the local dealers.

Drive the deal currently quote £42,816.48 for a TDV8 with privacy glass. Good eh? That tells me that your friendly neighbourhood dealer will probably let you have one for no more than £43,250 at the moment (buying from a local dealer has got to be worth something?). Walk in between now and 31st December and you should get such a deal.

Guys and girls, get your cheque books out now .... there has never been a better time to buy!!!!! I've been mad for flipping years, absolutely years, over the edge for yonks.

Or maybe James or Perrys might have some info on Q1 marketing incentives from LR........ Speed Limits! not where I live!

Sadly it isn't released to the network until the first working day of the quarter. Rest assured I'll post the incentive when we receive it but I would imagine that it will be similar to this quarter.
