I would also check the main earthing strap between the body and the engine.....if it's loose, corroded or damaged in anyway this can produce starting problems you describe Smile

Thanks Guys - I have taken the advice and waited til it has heated up and there doesn't seem to be a problem! Fingers crossed it will be fine from now on - obviously not a major problem on the RRSports though.

Italy 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Zermatt Silver

I'm having the same problem of KLM.LR changed the starting motor.After 3 weeks the problem started again but worst,I have to turn the key 5 to 10 times to start the engine.
Now is back to LR,waiting for "something"related to the automatic shift that (they said)tells the computer when the car is in "P"??????!!!!!!

Any suggestions ??
