Hi all,

I am fitting new winter tyres tomorrow. I was thinking about the Pirelli Scorpion ICE+SNOW. Do you have any experience with these or any suggestion about another brand?

Last year's Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow were fab

The new set fitted this year aren't nearly as good

The only difference is that last year they had a "NO" marking, and this year they don't. Have a look at the previous thread on this subject a week or so back for more details.

Yep I've had these on the D3 and RRS  Speed Limits! not where I live!

SMARTICUS, after speaking with the dealer here he said that the N0 marking doesn't exist anymore on the ice +snow and that they are all made with NYLON since the beginning of 2008. He told me that they now have a small logo showing a mountain with a snow flake in it meaning that the new design have been approved by the Canadian authorities . For him tyres still showing the N0 marking are older stock models.

What do you think, total BS or not??
