Bulb Replacement and the Manual

hmm nearside low beam had gone, if i had followed the manual, the front grill had to come off, then the complete light assembly, then the cover and then finally out with the bulb... Bull5h1t.. You can just unscrew the cover, twist the holder anti-clockwise and voila, the bulb is there for the changing.. Not so easy i grant you on the other bulbs..

Did they write the manual prior to vehicle assembly Laughing Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

It really depends on what engine you have under the bonnet Zilch. On the TDV6 you have a fair amount of access to the rear of the headlamp unit. On something like a 4.2 litre s/c its not so easy. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. I agree with you there.

The first time I ventured into Europe with my motor, I read the manual and started ripping the front of the motor apart so that I could swap the headlamp beams over to the european setting. It was only after removing the one headlamp and flipping the switch over inside the headlamp unit, that I realised I could do this from inside the engine compartment. Confused

So a potentially damaging 30 min process was quickly reduced to a 2 min process for future trips. Thumbs Up Arctic Frost TDV6 SE.
