i own a q7 at the moment and my mate has a range rover sport which i drive from time to time. i feel more special in the range rover but i find the q7 more spacious and the 2 extra seats come in handy for me.

I would guess that Q7's will depreciate worse than a RRS. Maybe Kam could clarify that? Using an 06/06 TDV6 HSE and a similarly aged 3.0 TDi S-Line then they dropped an identical amount between October and November in the generic motor trade guide!

It does ST.............. I shows that the Q7 has dropped proportionally more over a 30-month term, and that amounts to well over £1200!! You're always right, some of the time! James |

Well, I do like the RRS (in fact I just bought one although the Q7 would not have been more expensive to me) but I think in terms of the engine it would be necessary to compare the Q7 3.0TDI to the RRS TDV8 instead of the TDV6. The result could be a little different then. Let's be honest, the Q7 is perhaps the better car (and perhaps the cheaper one, too). Whereas the RRS is the most beautiful 4x4 the Q7 is perhaps the best Minivan on the market. And since I can't afford a DBS the RRS is the perfect "I want to look like James Bond"-car for me! @Steve: You live in the wrong part of Germany if you know girls like her. Come to the south where the girls are pretty and the weather is fine! |

That's fine, so now I can really feel like James Bond. I have to go searching for my dinner jacket before I pick it up! @flight: It depends on what you do want to have. As I already wrote the Q7 is perhaps the biggest, spaciest and by way best Minivan on the market! I'd go for the RRS obviously. I'm not quite sure it really is the better car or deal but surely it's the prettier one and the one that will make me smile every time I see it and/or drive it. The Q7 on the other hand is just a car - a very big and good one indeed but still just a car, not a RRS. |

Funny how the D3 seems to be regarded as the best 7 seater Surely if you are buying in this sector it is practicality that matters. Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate |

If you want the best 7 seater go for the way angel has gone: Buy a RRS and an Aston Martin -> 7 seats, perfect solution! |
