DVD error "no disk" - factory-installed DVD system

Hi All,
this is my very first post...
I own a second-hand RRS 2.7 TDV6 MY05 and a strange thing happen:I put some DVDs (genuine disks, no copies, no scratches) into rear DVD disc changer (factory-installed), it seems to charge disks, but all I can get is a "no disk" message in top left corner of front screen.
Depressed all numeric keypad buttons (1-6) to change disk, it charge disk, as I can hear switching noise, but result is always the same: "no disk".
I even insert a DVD lens cleaner disk into the charger unit, but it seems not work (of course...).

Does anyone know if this is common fault ?
Any advice ?

Thanks to All of you[/b]

I have this problem too but I find the system works once the car warms up. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

It was a valid response wasn't it Question since you didn't actually say you had checked they had been put in the right way round, sometimes it can be straight forward as that.....
