Had my car in today to resolve a few post first service warranty issues and it's come back looking like brand new with all outstanding problems fully resolved.
On this occasion they really have exceeded my expectations so today it's a big thumbs up to Lee and the rest of the service team.
Well done guys. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

purchased my tdv8 from g s at sheffield... superb in all ways, inc having my p ex in for couple days to change over steps etc to tdv8 and lent me ffrr tdv8 whilst this was being done! and they delivered/took away in all instances. great haggle on price and discount on accessories purchased.........

I have walked out of this place twice in the last 6 months

Each time I was made to wait for a salesman to come and talk to me despite it being empty

The first time I walked after 10 mins
The second I waited a little longer actually and did manage to speak to someone

However he didnt make any effort to actually negotiate a test drive with me, a 4x4 is a massive difference to what we currently drive, and as such I didnt take things further

Audi will give me a Q7 for a whole weekend
GS in Sheffield would let me drive a RRS for 20-30 mins accompanied by the salesman

I can only assume they are mad busy and dont need my custom

Im tempted by Huddersfield and used to work in Park Royal where my mates still do

BMW wont let me test drive an X5 or X6 as they dont have any demonstrators registered for fear of losing £££££ when they get to 6/12 old

I asked for a day from 10 till closing at GS
I promised not to drive to the moon or do a bank job
The guy wouldnt budge

For other reasons they will never get my custom
If they ignore me kicking tyres with 60k in my pocket what chance do I have of them bothering with warranty issues?

24-48 hrs is the norm.

Considering the above comments, I would avoid BMW, let them struggle on shifting those wannabe RRS  L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

Your lucky they offered you a demo drive,when I first went in they wouldn't even open the door on the one in the showroom to let me have a close look at the leather seats because they said it was sold,it was still there a week later when i went back
Also told me they didn't have any brochures (which I later also found out was untrue).
