had a nice trip today to costco, found a great parking space next to another 2 RRS, one with Overfinch body kit on Cool Forgot my phone, so no picture Embarassed

Then this afternoon a trip across Leeds to a 3 years old birthday party, chatting to one of the wifes mates out side before the place opened

I got told i drive a really nice car (even though the dealers names in all over the front door)

I think she used the word POSH too Laughing

but, the wife instantly told her it wasn't mine Evil or Very Mad

She could have let me enjoy the moment for at least 30 seconds Big Cry

Well just had the phone call saying my car is ready, but i have until 6pm Razz

In the past month i have had both a D3 TDV6 & now the RRS TDV6

Both very good cars, and both have a totally different feel to them compared to my FL2 SE

The RRS has been great, comfort level is a little/a lot better than the FL2, even with the base S version with extra bits that they loaned me. The space in the rear was a lot better too, releasing my son from is car seat he had room to stand behind the passenger seat, which he doesn't in mine. (Though i got a little worried when my son was pulling on the door handle whilst strapped in, luckily the car locks the rear when in motion Smile )

The boot is bigger, but the slope of the rear window could have a impact when fully laidened, also with the boot roll out cover when closed it not very high to conceal anything your don't want visible. But not much of a problem that would deter me from one.

The RRS is a drivers car compared to the D3 which is good but not as good IMO

One thing about it is I have never had a car that whilst sat watching TV, I kept getting a urge to go out and have a drive Embarassed I don't get that feeling with my FL2 or the D3 loaner Sad

And due to that.... The question of would I have one Question Is a big YES Very Happy

But i think my 6 numbers would have to roll in from camelot first. Even looking at 2nd hands prices they would be a little too old for my liking when the time to change my company car comes. And that's not even venturing in to company car tax costs or road tax.

But looking at the 1 year old D3 HSE they come in at more my price, but again CC Tax kills that option too Evil or Very Mad

I might have to look at opting out when the time comes, but then the running costs, loans and repairs all come into play, along with our second child cost too.

I have enjoyed my time with it, but as Steve says handing it back going to be hard Neutral

Just got back from my dealer, so back in the FL2 Smile

On the way there I had job to call on, and gave myself plenty of time to have a drive around the country lanes.

They are all mainly flat and quite wide for lanes, with most having good visability, but get reletivly bendy in places

The RRS handled itself really really well, I wasn't blasting along but, the car changed direction round the bends without feeling anything like a slip or fault whilst doing so.

And the brakes where great at getting a car the size of the RRS to stop Very Happy

Well I had my fun in it, now back to real life and my FL2 Sad
