DAB digital radio
A heads up display
A tailgate that raises and lowers at the press of a button I've been mad for flipping years, absolutely years, over the edge for yonks.

Interior / courtesy light in the back, that comes on with the front light, puddle lights & boot light when the doors are opened !!!!

The Freelander has it, the D3 has it, the Full Fat RR has it, did someone at Land Rover, “just forget”, to put it in the Sport.

Surely it couldn’t have been a “design decision” Shocked

I cannot believe that a car the calibre of an RRS does not have this simple thing, that pretty much every basic two cent car has as standard these days Evil or Very Mad Censored

I would like...

To get rid of that horrible inverse green display panel on the audio system...looks cheap and it is
Much better lighting throughout the interior of the car...present lighting is very dim for an expensive car
A better designed fron wiper system...my old Benz had the one wiper and it was fantastic...never skipped...was always quiet
Front mudflaps standard...didn't anyone drive one of these things on a wet dirt road during design testing? I get stripes up and down the side of the car

The rest I love!! 2006 Black/Alpaca, Hi Ice, Dynamic Pack, 19" wheels, Clear Pack...

I do.....when faced with 1000km of dirt road that is smooth apart from the central bit, that is 10" higher than the rest of the road. It's also useful in fast sand driving - see the recent post about a trip to Morocco.

Agree with Leo, in OZ we have unsealed roads as well, some of which can get a bit bumpy ad have higher crowns, so it would benefit from a higher clearance and speed ratio, before you get that rather annoying "bong bong" says zebedee its lowering, which happens at a mere 35-40KPH Evil or Very Mad

More robust steering and front end, one rack, good knows how many alignments in the last 12 months, i would hazard a guess at no less than six..perhaps you can tie that in to the DR/Knocking problems as well... seems it all needs overhauling

agree with twin turbo on the V6.. Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

Why Not

Agreed with staying up at offroad height when traveling at more then 40 km/h. Living in AUS the 40 km/h limit is a pain, I guess in a place where the nearest town is just a few klicks away compared to a couple of hundred between fuel stops it would be alright traveling at 40 km/h.

That b Censored y stereo display also needs adjusting just because you wear Polaroid sunglasses should not require you to tilt your head 23.6 degrees to the left or 33.98 to the right. How about a simple back light?

How about folding mirrors when you lock the car and they unfold when you unlock the car? Freelander 2 has it.

Reversing camera to at least see what you will run over Laughing

A towing point that does not act as a plow when towing a camper trailer outback.

A spare tyre winder that is not cable based (can bird cage) and where the opening does not face forward allowing all the bulldust/mud collecting internally rendering it useless.

Rain sensing windscreen wipers that can be varied as the stock item either moves slower the Galapagos tortoises mating or faster then blow flies copulating Shocked Does not appear to have an in between and more often then not the fixed speeds are useless Exclamation

That will do for now, as I think an automatic coffee/cappachino machine does not appear to fit in here though they do give you a cooler box so maybe a keg holder Very Happy ?

Full Ipod / MP3 integration
Bluetooth that works with all the common phones - inc iphones and crackberries.
2nd Battery as standard (Toyota apparently do it)
Off Road height available at much higher speeds - yes I do drive off road at those speeds!
The tailgate should be as per FFRR
Cigarette Lighters (at least those in the boot) permanently powered not just when ignition is on
Couple more power sockets in the boot and a couple more in the front would be good
More appropriate Jack and wrench
Rear and Front Camera options
OEM accessories to be cheaper.. It shouldn't cost me the same $'s as it did to buy the car just to add a few necessary bits.. And also make them available in Australia! And the expedition roof rack with lights
Panoramic Sunroof
Keyless Go/Start Stop button etc
Better dash lighting than the 70's green LCD effect.
Seperate Fog Light switches
LED rear lights

Move the window switches, so every time it rains or you wash the windows, if the window is open, does not get soaked.

agree with higher off road speed.
