Things you would like LR to add to the RRS

As the title says!

Simple thing I would like is an extra button underneath the Sat Nav screen to switch it on and off. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

England 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 S Stornoway Grey

A better feel to the incar entertainment and better integration - i find it all feels a bit like they started with a tape player, then thought they'd add a phone then nav but forgot that they could all work together - phone prep works, i'll give it that, but I hate the fact I have to turn the phones bluetooth off in my office or it connects to the car again and I dont hear it ring, also phone book usage is pittiful.

Nav is ok as far as nav goes, but it could have direction arrows infront of the driver as well (I liek this from my Audis).

Rubber floor mats as standard.

Leather seats that are 100% leather!
Keyless Go
More personalisation options
More differentiation between Disco 3 interior and RRS - leaning towards a big daddy quality interior!
Electric tailgate
Proper IPod integration with playlists on the main Nav screen

and finally.....

Seat adjustment that provides love handle grip, contour adjustment and base seat movement, i.e. base of seat moves as opposed to whole of seat frame Shocked L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

-Ability to keep off-road height at higher speeds, say up to 70mph rather than 40
-Suspension that doesn't knock
- an interior like the FFRR
-more power is always good.....

ur not gona be drivin 70mph off road so what is the point?

make the interior more pretty, perhaps offer carbon as an option? offer autobiorophy as an option perhaps do a super sport varient like the cayenne GTS?

better handling, less understeer, get rid of that black strip at bottom of the windscreen, rear camera, option of "sports seats"

and just generally bring it inline with the cayenne, i think they need to aim the FFRR at a higher market against the Bentley and S class, and make the RRS the standard of the current FFRR RR Sport supercharged 06

Er, I think not. If I wanted a sports car, i would have bought one......the Sport for me is the right balance between off roader and well handled road car. It's all about balance.

Agreed the interior could be made better and the power uplifted though...that would make it perfect. It certainly does not have any worries on the looks side and IMHO requires no facelift whatsoever externally....something the ones in Stuttgart need to revisit PRONTO. The Cayenne is still as hideous and ghastly as Christopher Biggins.....nude Shocked L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

I do.....probably not the kind of off-roading you do in the UK, but when faced with 1000km of dirt road that is smooth apart from the central bit, that is 10" higher than the rest of the road. It's also useful in fast sand driving - see the recent post about a trip to Morocco.

The RRS handles fine and looks perfect - it's not a sports car and heavier than the Cayenne. The Cayenne isn't close to the RRS in true off-road conditions. I agree that it needs a better interior though. Thumbs Up
