From reading the service book and what has been said here it looks like its 50K or 2 yrs (whichever comes first). For me it just seems a long time between services, still it just means that I have to open the wallet less.

Checked with the stealer and service was carried out, it would appear the service indicator was not reset, i am told by the chap on the phone that this is common problem when servicng that sometimes it does not re set and i will have to wait until next service for it to be re set again as if done now the required time will be 12 months or 15K from now |

Seems that the easiest way to ascertain service interval is by latitude and temperature Closely followed by lack of Land Rover income stream or when Mercury is in the third quarter of Venus after Mars has 7/8 shadowed Jupiter . Just seem that there is no other rhyme or reason. Maybe a super computer (like the original Willy Wonka one, see Tim from The Goodies) could figure this service interval differential out |

The Stealership equipment (IDS) which i promise you i know very intimately, resets the service interval to values derived from and according to a built in table. So dealers don't have a choice. the country is read from the CCF file in the vehicle and they just hit the button marked reset service interval. |

Went back to the dealer who serviced it last year as I had a suspition that they hadnt reset the service indicator... And they hadnt... PHEW!!!! So have 9000 miles or 12 months to go before they get their fangs into my neck...
