Service intervals???

Okay...

My car last had a service at 11000 miles its now got 21000 miles and its exactly a year ago since it was lasty serviced. I called Charles Hurst and they said that service is every 15000 miles or every 2 years, Which ever comes first...

BUT... my car indicator is saying that It needs a service 2 days ago...

So does it or doesnt it need a service?

Shocked

Does anyone know when the first service is due on a Supercharged? Is it 10000 miles or 15000? Cheers Very Happy

The service indicator in the info screen should show you within 1 month of the service being due, however I thought all RRS's were 15000 miles or 12months (unless the service indicator says otherwise) whichever comes first. Basically it gets an annual service unless you cover more than 15k miles in a year when you service at 15k. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I may be a bit of a thicket with this one.

My RRS clocked up 25,000 Km in 4 months from new, and a serviced was carried out. So when is my next service due? When it reaches 1 year old or 50,000Km?

Just noticed that my service indicator is showing -6, when i purchased the car in August i was told it had just had a service and it would not be due for 15K or 12 months, now i have only done 4K since August, am i correct to think that the service interval indicator was not reset or even worse the service was not carried out Sad

Tumshie - the service indicator will let you know! If in doubt then contact the dealership

Leeds - if the supplying dealer really did service it then you can go into any dealer and as them to check on the LR computer system to see what was done (if anything). Best thing would be to contact the supplying dealer and ask them to explain why the service indicator has come up when they are supposed to have serviced it in August - I suspect they forgot to reset the indicator but look on the dark side and don't trust their word for it! You need proof. What is stamped in the book in the wallet with the owners manual as the service should also be recorded in there? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Flight - Not sure who you spoke to, but it is 12 months or up to 15000 miles, whichever is first. Sounds like it's now due. Apologies for the incorrect info. James

I'm off site until later, but if you email lisawilsher@charleshurstgroup.co.uk (Lisa - doesn't have access to PM's on the forum) she'll work you out a forum rate.
