I still need to try with some friend's iPhone. I'll do it this weekend probably, I'll post my findings later...

Quite possible - the MY09 has a completely different PTI system anyhow, it's no longer a Nokia unit, so I suspect the product development teams stopped work on enhancing it iback then, n preparation for the new one.

Just got a 3g iPhone and it connects to the car's B/T no problem, 1st time every time. Really pleased with it and it's the first phone where I have successfully received email to my phone despite having has various supposedly email compatible phones........................ it's brilliant! Now I need to find a dash/screen mount for it in the car! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

itunes says that I have the latest software version and have had no problem synching with the car B/T at all so far. I've only been able to use the phone since 10am today. FYI my car is a 2008MY with the full PTI and cradle fitted, don't know if that makes any difference. I haven't tried reading my contacts list yet though................... job for tomorrow! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yeah, the e-mail system on the 3G is great... And my university account has "push-mode", so every time I receive a mail, the phone automatically recovers it and rings... Just like sms.

How do you find the list of recent callers on the iPhone? If I could access that then it would be easier to store the contact numbers than making an Access spreadsheet up. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

will do, I only got the phone yesterday so am still playing with it. As stated above the push email is good, now all emails from my hotmail address get sent to my yahoo address and get sent straight to the iphone! I could never get the email on my Blackberry set up to work with hotmail or yahoo. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
