2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I saw the car on Friday and it is very nice, it has a lovely interior too........................... now is there anybody here who can solve a technical question about the exhaust on the car. It has twin outlets, both on the nearside and defo has two pipes going under the car but one of them is more soot stained than the other, which has much greyer stains. Now Jay and I are aware that the 3.5 twin turbo has a two stage turbo system - a small one for low speed umph and then a larger one that takes a bit longer to wind up and that the motor is a straight six BUT does it also have a trick exhaust system that uses one tailpipe for one turbo and the other for the bigger turbo? There is a spring loaded butterfly valve in the dirtier pipe of the two as well? Question Question 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

Tim man, listen mate, its a BMW rep mobile, with delusions of adequacy etc etc. Who cares whether it spews it's exhaust out of one, or the other or both tail pipes ?

Now lets get back to whether the lower drop arm jangle pin on a '94 300tdi defender is better than the whatzamacalllit on the '96 TD5 CSW - or does it all depend on whether the tyres are BFG MT or SAT's ???

If Kams 7 is anything to go by, the 530d will be quick.

But the 535d? That's a different proposition altogether.

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

It's a beautiful motor seeing as it's 3 years old and has lived in the SE. There are no dings on the panels just a couple of fine scratches that you would accept as normal for the age of the car. It's been well looked after by the last owner. I'm not that fond of it that I would swap my RRS though Mr. Green 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

BMW uses a system similar to Ferarri and has a buterfly on one of the exhausts, this helps the maximise the efficiency of the exhaust for different rpm's, also for BHP is better more flow but for torque is better more back pressure....
