where do i start,i live in spain,i saw the press launch of the new rangerover sport,all those years back as it was done here in the costa brava, fell in love so i ordered one tdv6 rrs,loved the car it was re-called after two months problems with the suspension.these things happen,it got sorted.Then i heard,about the new rrs tdv8,so i traded,mine in,i recieved the first tdv8 here in northern spain.i have had the car two years now ,i had the knocking everybody is on about,after 15000kms,it went in they replaced suspension at the front,i have now covered 100000kms,last week i noticed a diff noise like an old school bus,a week later,when i started the car from cold the car would vibrate,coming from the gearbox,i thought it must be the gearbox filter,but the car had only just had its 100000km service a week earlier,apart from this the front suspension,creaks like an old,sprung bed.i would just like to add my car has never been off road.Itook the car into landrover two days ago, they say i need a new gearbox,and that will be why diff whines,i am not convinced,i think when they fit my new gearbox,i will still have the whine,they did not have a car to lend me ao landrover assist has hired me a peugeot ,i better get used to it because i think i will be in it for a while,i have had a lot of 4x4 cars,as soon as i get mine back i will be selling it and looking at something like the new landcruiser twin turbo

Bad luck David - let's hope it all gets sorted for you. And if not, good luck with the Land Cruiser

Sorry to hear of the problems, but if you are fed-up with 4x4's could I ask why you are going for a Land Cruiser, it's a 4x4/SUV just like the Landie. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
