Switzerland 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Badges, badges...

I got an HSE badge on mine, it's a MY 2007... Sometimes I spot some RRS with the TDV6 or TDV8 badge instead of the HSE or SE one...

What's with the badging? The MY 2008/9 no longer have the version one but instead have the engine one?

Thanks!

TDv8's are all HSE spec and from 2008.5MY the spec badge was replaced by the small TDv8 badge as far as I know. It's very easy to change the badge as it is only stuck on with heavy duty double sided sticky pads. To remove the old one you need some dental floss and a hairdryer (the hairdryer softens the glue) and to then you also use it to warm up the area where you are sticking the new badge to help it stick better! I think LR don't sell a TDv6 badge similar to the Tdv8 one though. If you really want to be different then buy an Autobiography badge instead. Costs about £25 and is a cast aluminium badge............................ TDv8 and Supercharged badges are just matt painted plastic 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Ah ok, got it, it's just for the TDV8! It was just a question anyway, I'm not planning to change my HSE badge... I'm not really into badging something I'm not, like putting the SC badge or TDV8. Laughing
Maybe and just maybe, I'll go for the black Land Rover badges...

I debadged mine, I like the clean look, and went for the black badge for the grill and the wheels. '08 RRS TDV8
I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil

I took off the back Land Rover badge as well, but I like to keep the SPORT HSE one. Already took care of the stupid dealer sticker, next step is to buy a new plate holder, mine now has the dealer's logo and telephone on it, I don't like it too much.
