I find that using a carnauba based product always does the job. I use Zymol but you can get cheaper ones now that still do the job just as well. To get the best finish thoroughly wash and then clay bar the whole car which involves rubbing a special bar of clay with a lubricant(!) all over the body work to remove any minor imperfections and ground in dirt. Then finally add a layer of carnauba based wax to finish it off. It takes ages, especially on a RRSport, but the finish lasts for about 3 months. Then all you need to do is top up the wax. www.designerwheels.co.uk

ST, Yes! I use sidesteps as rock sliders, they are cheaper and easier to replace than sills and I don't want to fit rock sliders. One set of side steps lasts about 5 years before they are too rusty/knackered to stand on! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
